Sue Ellen Jones, age 55, of Pleasant Hope, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was born January 21, 1959, in Rome, NY, to Melvin and Inez (Amaral) Eastburn. She was united in marriage to Keith A. Jones June 21, 1980, and to this union two sons were born. She retired as the Special Education Process Coordinator for the Halfway School District after 24 years. She was a member of the Fair Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Timmy Eastburn; and a sister Tammy Eastburn.
She is survived by her husband Keith Jones of the home; two sons: Dustin Jones of Pleasant Hope, MO and his fiance Delaney Stewart of Halfway, MO, and Allen Jones and his wife Heather of Ash Grove, MO; two granddaughters: Paige and Emily of Ash Grove, MO; three brothers: Tommy Eastburn of Powell, MO, Leonard Eastburn and wife Heather of Rocky Comfort, MO, and Bobby Eastburn of Rocky Comfort, MO; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Pitts Chapel with Evangelist Walter Myers officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, March 14, 2014, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
