It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry Dean Robinson, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend. Terry, 75, a proud Army Vietnam veteran, and dedicated forklift operator in the steel manufacturing industry, peacefully departed this life surrounded by family on August 3, 2024, at Cox South Medical Center Springfield, MO.  Born in Jefferson, IA, on August 22, 1948, Terry was the loving son of Leon and Alice Robinson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Marilyn Huffman and a brother Charles Robinson.

He is survived by his cherished wife Ruth of the home; sons: James Smith (Angie) of Seymour, MO, Terry Robinson (Karolyn) of Hartville, MO, and Kenneth Robinson (Petina) of Mountain Grove, MO; 11grandchildren: Tara, Jaimie, Kacey, Vannessa, Ely, Heavenly, Cailen, Trent, Alexis, Chloe, Serenity; nine great grandchildren; a sister in-law Carolyn Robinson of Ava, MO; as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at Pitts Chapel Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, also at the funeral home.

Terry’s final resting place will be at the Pleasant Hope Cemetery: 705 N Main St, Pleasant Hope, MO 65725, where he will be laid to rest with military honors as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army.
