Thea Elizabeth Roberts 74, Springfield, MO. passed away March 11, 2022, at Woodland Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 3, 1948, in Lebanon, MO. to Theodore and Patty (Davis) Warrington. She was a 1966 graduate of Lebanon, MO. High School; she obtained her B.S. in Education, from Southwest MO State College, in 1970; and her Masters Degree in Library Science, from Kansas State Teachers College, in 1977. Thea was the School Librarian in Iberia R-V School, Iberia, MO. from 1970 to 2000 and was the Director of the Heartland Regional Library System from 2000 to 2019. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, MO. She was a member of Rainbow, Eastern Star, Amerath, and White Shrine and she achieved the highest ranks in all of these orders.

Thea was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Patty Warrington, her first husband, Charles Dodge, who passed away, in 1992, and by her cousin, Gayla. She is survived by her husband, Theodore Roberts, whom she married November 27, 1999. She is also survived by her brother, Dalyn Wilson and her nieces and nephews: Cindy Wilson , Blake (wife Kim) Wilson and Gwen Wilson and her great nieces and nephew: Emma, Levi, and Carley, and her close friends: Linda Lee, Danna Hall, and many friends and former students.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be at 1:oo p.m. at the Lebanon, MO. city Cemetery, beside her first husband, Charles Dodge. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
