Theodore Albert Piepho (Ted) was born July 1, 1947 in Superior Nebraska to Lyman Dale Piepho and Eunice Lucille Hobelman.
He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. He loved his country and proudly served it. Not only in the military but also in civic service as the Dakota County Clerk in Dakota City, Nebraska for 38 years.
He and Marsha were married June 9, 2012. They resided in Homer Nebraska until they retired to Branson, Missouri in 2015. Ted served on the Woodland POA Board, always trying to do the right and honest thing for his fellow homeowners. He attended Bloom church and all those who knew Ted witnessed the deepening of his commitment and love for Christ in the latter years of his life. He was concerned about the salvation of others and would often speak to people to make sure they were ready for Heaven. We are assured today it is Teds final home.
He leaves behind his wife, Marsha Piepho, of their home. His four stepchildren and families. Melissa & JF Lindner of Conway, ARKANSAS. Crystal & JC Seward of Manilla, ARKANSAS. Micah Dennis of Russellville, ARKANSAS. Kalah Dennis of Ashdown, ARKANSAS. 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grand children who call him “Papa Ted”. Three Brothers and families: Wally & Deb Piepho, and Calvin & Liz Piepho all of Lincoln, Nebraska. Tim and Laurie Piepho of Omaha Nebraska, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Everyone who knew Ted saw his wonderful sense of humor. He loved making people smile. He loved caring for others. His greatest joy was being able to lend a helping hand. To say Ted will be missed here is an understatement. Heaven gained, but earth has lost a precious man, who will forever be remembered by those who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on February 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bloom Church with Pastor Michael Carlton and Pastor J. C. Seward officiating.
