Thomas Michael Earnhardt, 68, born on November 25, 1942, passed away on Saturday March 19th at home with family after a courageous battle with cancer. He worked at Motor Transportation in St. Louis and later with Ryder Truck Leasing, where he earned membership in the prestigious Ryder Round Table. He loved spending time with family and friends at Table Rock Lake and enjoyed going to car shows with his Austin Healey. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Lee and Kathryn Spellman Earnhardt and brother, Edward Lee Jr of Hermitage, PA. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Elizabeth Victoria (Vickie) Bolte Earnhardt; children Robin Roberts and husband Scott of St Louis, MO, Julie Joyner and husband Mark of Niceville, FL, and Matthew and wife Melissa of Pace, FL; brother John Earnhardt and wife Sandra of Minden, LA; grandchildren Clayton, Skyler, Jordan, Marissa, Kelsey, Taylor, and Bryce and also many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22nd at GreenLawn East Funeral Home and also Wednesday from 12 to 1, followed by a memorial service officiated by Reverend Charles Arsenault. Burial will follow at Rivermont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to local Springfield Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
