Rev. Vincent James Salituro Jr. 96, Springfield, Mo. passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, after a long illness. He was born in Carnegie, Pa. on July 26, 1920, to Vincent James and Carmella (Russo) Sr. He was a retired sales tax auditor, for 20 years, he also was a retired pastor, and he had served on the administration of Central Bible College and Evangel College. When he was preaching the word, he was quite fluent in both Italian and English. He was a member of Central Assembly Of God Church, where he served as an usher, Communion server, and Sunday School Teacher, for 50 years.
Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Mary. He is survived by his two daughters: Carolyn Jean Coleman and her husband Jackie Spain Coleman, and Joyce Ann Williams and her husband Larry E. Williams, three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Maranatha Chapel, with burial to follow, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be an hour before services from 3 to 4 p.m.
