Virginia Dean Mincks, age 98, of Greenfield, MO, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011. She was born April 14, 1912 in Springfield, MO, to James and Letha (Pursley) Dobey. She was a charter member of Mt. Sinai Assembly of God, Rogersville, MO.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sue Rust; and her two husbands, Harry A Collison and Ervin K. Mincks.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dianne Mingus of Strafford and Betty Gerald Wixon of Greenfield; four sons, James Collison of Springfield, Paul Collison of Greenfield, Arnold LeVal Collison of Niangua, and Ervin Keith Collison of Walnut Shade; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2011, at Mt. Sinai Assembly of God Church, Rogersville, MO, with Rev. Harry Cole officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 P.M. on Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
