Wanda Hall, 91, of Springfield, MO passed away on March 27, 2025. Wanda was born June 21, 1933 in Seymour, MO to Leonard and Luna (Davenport) Privett. She grew up cherishing and making memories with her nine brothers and sisters.
She was a loving wife to her husband Gayle Hall and a cherished mother to her sons, Stephen and Daniel Dickinson, her daughter Debbie Kassing (Hall) and her step daughters Terry Hosler (Hall) and Tracy Sanders (Hall). Wanda began her early career as a pharmacy technician in Springfield, eventually changing to a career in shoe sales that she loved.
After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, playing games and going to the lake. Nothing brought Wanda more joy than her family. She was a kind and generous wife, mother and grandmother. She was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience. She faced life’s challenges with grace and an unwavering spirit. Her family will remember her for her love, gentle nature and sense of humor. Wanda was also a huge animal lover and rescued numerous cats over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Luna Privett; her husband Gayle Hall; her son Stephen Dickinson; her twin sister Juanita Henslee and five other siblings-Buddy Privett, Ronnie Privett, Howard Privett, Jim Privett and Janet Cline.
Wanda is survived by her son Daniel Dickinson (wife Ladenna), daughter Debbie Kassing (husband Robert), daughter in law Marilyn Dickinson, step daughters Terry Hosler (husband Dane) and Tracy Sanders (husband Gary), three siblings-David Privett (Janice), Tony Privett and Nancy Privett; ten grandchildren-Jacob Kassing, Kelsey Gillespie (Brad), Kelly Dickinson (Marcel), Randy Dickinson, Jamie Dickinson, Amber Jeffreys, Joshua Jefferys, Jason Hosler, Adrian Hosler and Rowyn Hosler Holliman, four Great grand children-Haley Gillespie, Cory Gillespie, Grace Jeffreys and Temperance James and numerous nieces, nephews and family members who loved her dearly.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Haven Hospice and Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for their loving care and support.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am till 11:00 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home, North. A service will follow beginning at 11:00 am also in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
