Warne Elbert Dodson, age 82 of Battlefield, MO, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2025, at the Springfield Villa Nursing Facility after a battle with Dementia.
Warne was born to Elbert Dodson and Irene (Naugle) Dodson on January 18, 1943, in Niangua, MO. Warne was united in marriage to Phyllis Boulware on September 17, 1966, at Northside Assembly of God, Springfield, MO. Warne and Phyllis shared 58 years of marriage.
He spent 39 years of service with Harry Cooper Supply in Springfield, MO as a delivery driver. After retiring he worked part-time at Battlefield City Park doing landscaping. Warne was preceded in death by his father Elbert Dodson and mother Irene Dodson. He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis and son Jeffery, daughter -in-law Dena. Also, a brother Jim (Linda), sisters, Frances Carlson, Nancy McGrady, and Carol Dodson. Also, several nephews and step-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Greenlawn North Funeral Home on March 15, 2025, at 3pm. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
