Mr. Wayne Lee Stokes, age 73, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away on May 18, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO. Wayne was born to Warren Stokes and Doris (Wallis) Stokes on January 6, 1951 in Springfield, MO. Wayne was united in marriage to Catherine (Dougherty) Stokes. Wayne proudly served in the United States National Guard. Wayne was the owner of a used car dealership. He ran a scooter shop in Bolivar, MO. and loved Western Music.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Warren Stokes. He is survived by his wife Catherine Stokes;his mother Doris Stokes; sister Donna Schulze; nephew Randal Schulze; niece Tammy Burks.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Greenwood cemetery, in Bolivar, MO. No visitation is planned.
