His beautiful little farm was his sanctuary and oasis and his love for all his animals and gardening shined through in each little spot of his home and land. He was very generous in sharing his farm with friends and family allowing us to relax, enjoy the beautiful views of his property, and sharing his love of all his precious animals ranging from puppies and kittens, chickens, ducks, geese and peacocks, calves, baby goats, and of course his beloved horses. He also had a tremendous love for music. He was a talented singer and loved his time singing in the men’s choir. He loved Dolly Parton with a passion and was a lifelong fan. Joe loved his family. He was the life of all the parties, constantly laughing, singing, and being silly. He was our “Santa” many years always making the kids’ faces light up and the adults laugh.
