Willard D. Teague Jr., 83, of Pampa, Texas, passed away on December 8, 2025.
A devoted servant of Christ, Willard began his ministry as an evangelist at fourteen years of age. He later served for many years as a missionary to West Africa, church planter, biblical scholar, and trainer of pastors. He established a pastoral training School in the Ivory Coast, served as president of the West Africa Advanced School of Theology, and later Academic Dean of Global University, impacting countless lives across the world.
He is survived by his wife, Jerlene; his sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Shelley, Kent and Shelley, and Timothy and Kristy; grandchildren Ashley, Amber, Austin, Eric, Sarah, Luke, and Lillian; and great-grandchildren Joshua and Hannah. He is also survived by siblings Robert Fletcher, June Wilson, and Jeanne Fields. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Ethel Teague of Pampa, Texas and brother Lynne Fletcher.
A funeral service will be held at Central Assembly of God Church in Springfield, Missouri, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the African Field Missions or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital
