William O’Bryan Watts was born to Charlie and Wanda (Hocker) Watts in Springfield, MO on June 6, 1959. He went to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon October 14, 2022, after about a year-long battle with liver cancer. He always went by “Bryan”.
His Mother and Father divorced when Bryan was around 5 years of age. He, his older sister Patricia Ann and their mother spent time in Florida and Ohio, before moving back to Bolivar where his mother was raised. Bryan was in 6th grade at the time.
Bryan excelled in football and baseball and received a scholarship to play football at Pittsburg State University in Kansas. After several surgeries on both knees, Bryan left college and resumed operating heavy equipment, which he did up until just a few months prior to his passing.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Patricia Ann Ladd, and a half-sister Connie Roan.
He is survived by a half-sister Cheryl Harbin and family of Hannibal, MO, another half-sister Chris Cook of Mulkytown, IL, a nephew, Ryan Ladd, his wife Victoria and their family of Springfield, MO, a daughter Alecia Watts of Topeka, KS and his 12 year companion Jane Stewart of their home in Dadeville, MO.
Bryan touched many lives and a celebration of his life is being planned for a later date. As much notice as possible will be given. His body has been cremated by Pitts Chapel of Bolivar, MO.
