William Curtis Ruble, age 76, left us to prepare a place in Heaven on September 7, 2013. He was born on April 27, 1937 in Lebanon, Mo. to Cordelia and Irvin Ruble.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty Brennon; a son, Terry Ruble; and a stepson, David Putney.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beulah; brothers: Ernest (Bridgette), Jim (Sally), Kenneth (Byna), David (Dottie); and a sister, Frances. Also surviving are his sons: Tim, Gary (Robyn), Billy, Frank, Danial and Ernie (Val); his loving stepchildren: Cindy Blair, Cathy (Dana) and Tom Blair (Regina). He was Grandpa to 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and Poppy to 4 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, MO with the funeral service following at 12:00 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to Mercy Hospice of Springfield
