William “Bill” D. Culley, 81, died April 13, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born in Sedalia, Missouri on January 28, 1937 to William and Irene Culley. He served his great country and was a member of the United States Army from 1960 to 1962. Bill retired from Prudential Insurance Company where he worked for 23 years. He was a member of the Watermill Church of Christ of Springfield. Bill loved the outdoors, NASCAR and spending time with friends. His greatest joy in life was his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Patricia J. Culley. Two daughters, Stephanie and her husband James Hall, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; Valerie and her husband Kory Larson of Springfield, Missouri; 5 grandchildren; Brittany and her husband Ross Fuller, Jessica Larson, Wyatt Larson, Trevor Hall and Tanner Hall; 1 great-grandchild, Sebastian Fuller. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Johnson, of Creston, Iowa, one niece, Robin Weyrens of Huntersville, NC, two nephews, Bill Culley of Republic, MO and Mike Culley of Mayflower, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Rusty Mosier and Charles “Rod” Culley.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO. There will be a graveside service following the funeral at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5210 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri 65809
