Bill Edward White passed away Sunday evening March 30, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born September 13, 1925 in Milan, GA to Austin & Annie White.
On May 11, 1977 Bill married the love of his life & best-friend, Pat Williams. Bill was also Pat’s best-friend, love of her life and her dream-come-true. Together they cherished 36 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories.
Bill loved anything to do with the outdoors. Fishing, hunting & cutting wood were probably his favorite hobbies.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers including his twin brother, two sisters & his son Jimmy.
Bill is survived by his wife Pat, and six children, Billy White (Jessica), Cathy Coffman (Timmy), Cheyenne & Rosie White of the home, Peggy Doolittle (Dennis), daughter-n-law Mary White. Seven grandchildren, Holland White, Mikey & Timmy Messenger, Lisa Folenus, Denise Salchow, David Doolittle & Lacey Skinner. Six great-grandchildren, Ashlee Clifton, Austin Wasson, Colby & Katie Salchow, Dylan & Sophie Skinner. Two great-great-grandchildren, Mason Mills & Brady Edwards.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 6-8pm with the celebration of Bill’s life Friday, April 4, 2014 at 10am at Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial to follow at Robberson Prairie Cemetery.
