William L. Jennings, 89, Springfield, passed away February 28, 2010. He was born January 13, 1921. William was an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Alice; sons, Jerry and David; brothers, Troy and Albert; sisters, Lorene and Ina; grandson, Davey. Survivors include his son Bill Jennings and wife Bonnie; eight grandchildren, Brian, Tommy, Jay, Rick, Scott, Belinda, Benita, Lavon; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil Jennings and wife Marlyce. Visitation will be March 2, 2010, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A funeral service will be held March 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Danforth Cemetery.
