Memorial Services for William O. Olsen, Jr., age 74 of Branson, MO. will be held at 3 PM, Monday, May 17, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor Jimmy Cariker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
He died 0n Thursday, May 13, 2010 at his home.
He was born on October 26, 1935 in Eureka , KS the son of William Oliver Olsen, Sr. and June Olsen. He was a retired Project Director and started timesharing in Branson with Roark Resort. He had been a resident of the area for the past 32 years.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Janice Ann Olsen of Branson, MO., three daughters: Melinda Selvey of Lee’s Summit, MO., Melissa Purdon of Louisburg, KS., Michelle James of Branson, MO., Three siblings: Charlotte Wessel of emporia, ks., Steve Olsen of Louisburg, KS., Helen Olsen of Council Grove, KS., eight grandchildren and Three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two children: Monica Olsen and William Olsen and a sister: Karen Rose.
