She passed away on July 22, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Festus, Missouri.
Willodean was born on September 26, 1924 in Marshall, Arkansas the daughter of Henry and Celia Thompson Eaton. She had worked as an assembly lineman for fruit packers in California, she attended the Faith Baptist Church in Festus, Missouri.
She was survived by two children; Bill Hancock of Festus, Missouri and Treva Evans of California. Two sisters, Wilma Ratchford and Wanda Rea both of Marshall, Arkansas and a brother, Gerald Eaton of Marshall, Arkansas. Four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Newton Hancock and infant brother, Willard Eaton.
