Wilma Fay Harmon, 86 passed away at home on February 27th, 2024 in Willard , Mo. She was married to her highschool sweetheart Boyd Eldon Harmon.They shared 67 years of marriage together.
Born in Conway Missouri, she was the daughter of Jesse and Ethel Anglen.She attended Central High School in Springfield Mo. and upon getting married, became a stay at home Mom, raising four children, Clint, Clay, Penny and Carey. Along with their four children, Fay and Eldon went on to have ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
In 1958 she and Eldon would join New Testament Baptist Church which would later be renamed Baptist Temple. Fay and Eldon enjoyed working in the children’s ministry, where together they would serve for 47 years as directors of “Junior Church”. She will be remembered for her love of the Lord, the love of her family and her servant’s heart.
Fay is survived by her spouse, Eldon Harmon; four children: Clint(Leta), Clay(Connie), Penny(Craig), and Carey; her grandchildren: Tyrel, Angela, Jennifer, Shawna, Brandon, Jeff, Chelsey, Skylar, Haven, and Dalton; and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn North 3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803. With graveside services at the Robberson Prairie cemetery in Willard, mo.
