Dear Marge... Scott popped into my mind just now, and I did a google search hoping to find his picture and instead found his obituary. The news of his passing had not reached me until tonight (January 26, 2022). I hope you and the girls are doing well. I have many memories of Scott as youth pastor, cancer survivor, biking buddy, coworker at AGH, and as a good friend. I'm sure he's bicycling around heaven right now on an amazing bicycle that only God could create. I sure will miss him. Sending you my love.

Dear Marge and Garner family, While I want to wish you our condolences, it is not with a heavy heart... for we know that Scott is with the Lord in heaven and probably riding a bike on Golden Streets. He WILL be missed by us who are left here... Isaiah 40:31 “…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” David & Sonjia

We are so sorry to hear about Scott. He calledRandy after Randy’s cancer diagnosis a few weeks ago, and they had a really good visit. So very thoughtful of Scott to think of others as sick as he was. Randy said that growing up, Scott was just good. Just throughly good. What a compliment. The world was better because of him.
Lanita Williams left a message on July 17, 2020:
So sorry to hear of Scott’s passing. Due to distance we didn’t see each other very often but I always enjoyed our interaction on Facebook and will certainly miss him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So sorry to hear about Scott, he was a great guy. Went to church with him at Crossroad and Delight 1st Assembly. When he would come in to visit family, if we knew he was here, we would always ask him to preach at Crossroad. Praying God gives you peace during this difficult time.
Kae Higgins left a message on July 16, 2020:
So sorry for your loss. I know Scott is rejoicing with the angels in heaven. The time has come for him to see the beautiful face of Jesus and walk the streets of gold and sit beside the river. It will only be a short minute until you see him again. I imagine he is singing and sitting at the feet of our Lord and Savior. I know your hearts are broken, I am praying for God's peace and comfort to surround you as you go through this time of sorrow.
