Adriana Booker left a message on December 10, 2020:
I love my Auntie Marie so much! I will miss her, and I’m taking great hope in seeing her again in heaven. She lived a great life, I interviewed her for a report in college. It was about what recreation looked like throughout her life. She recounted to me how her early years were filled with WW2 and Nazis invading, then communism taking hold and how that impacted our family, and my grandfather. It is such a treasure that I still have that interview with her. She always wanted to point me and the other children in our family to Jesus, and I’m thankful for that. I love you Marie. I’m thinking of you Karen during this hard time.

My Aunt Marie was sweet and devoted to Jesus. I will never forget her or the precious memories I have of spending time with her and the rest of our family. Praise God that she is in heaven now. I am looking forward to our reunion. For those in our family who are still awaiting this celestial family reunion, my prayers are with you in this time of mourning.
