Lehman Edward Strain, Jr. 67 of Rogersville, passed away November 19, 2020, in his home
His son, Lehman E, Strain III, wrote the following regarding his father:
Bud, Son, Father, Grandfather, and Friend. You were loved by many and will be
missed. You worked hard all your life and never complained. Your heart was like gold
and you would always give your last dollar to someone if they needed it. You spent
your money as fast as you could make it. Always on everyone else, as well as on
your dog Sassy. She gave you love and friendship in a time when you really needed it.
You knew God, but in the last ten years, you formed a relationship with him. You
turned your life over to Him and in the end, you told me “you were ready to meet Him”.
You had many passions in your life, but music was one of your favorites. You loved
to play it and write songs. The Bible says The Stars and Heavens, and the Angels,
Sing God’s Praises. I know your there making music and playing the music you loved
so much. You loved your family, including your mother and father, your children, and
numerous cousins. Your survivors include, your mother, Charlotte Strain, your children,
Mike Strain, Lehman E Strain III, and Amy, Darcy Harrington, Matson Strain and Chante’ Strain,
and eleven grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Sandy Matson, Jolene
Anderson, and Shirley Caringer.
You are loved and we will all miss you very much.
