Aaron Mark Neuburger, 42, passed away in the early morning hours of October 8, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri.
Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Larry Neuburger; his brother-in-law, James Nunn; his paternal grandparents, Theodore and Evelyn Neuburger; and his maternal grandfather, Ralph Nevius.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Olivia, and their two children, Addyson and Emma; his daughter, Kelea Martin; his mother, Sharon (Clay) Williamson; his sister, Julie, and her daughter, Sheridan; his sister-in-law, Tabitha (Vicky) Hoffman, and their son, Finnegan; his sister-in-law, Lisa (Roy) Matthews, and their children, Devon, Klaire, and Allyson; his grandmother, Marilyn Nevius; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his friends whom he cherished like his own family.
Aaron was born in Pratt, Kansas. During his early years, his family moved to a number of places in Kansas. No matter what town his family lived in, Aaron made friends quickly, and he enjoyed riding his bike and playing sports and games with them. Once his family made the move to Springfield, Missouri, in 1989, he continued his love for baseball and was able to join the local Little League baseball team. It was then that his dad taught him the hard work and leadership skills that it takes to be a successful catcher, a good player, and a great teammate. As Aaron entered middle and high school, he began making some of the best friends anyone could ask for. These young men (affectionately called, “the boys,”) not only grew up together, but remained life-long friends, and were faithfully by Aaron’s side until they had to say goodbye.
After Aaron and Olivia were married in 2013, they had two beautiful children together: Addyson Nicole and Emma Grace. His wife and girls were his greatest joy and the light of his life, and their time together was filled with laughter, love, and countless special moments. Whether they were at home, attending the girls’ dance recitals, or spending a Saturday on a family outing, Aaron was always there ready to build memories with his family. Aaron, Olivia, and their girls loved their vacations to the beach and made many cherished memories with each other and dear friends who often accompanied them.
Aaron had such an easy way about him, drawing those around him in, making them laugh, and never missing an opportunity to influence them to listen to great music. Most importantly, he made his friends and family feel genuinely loved and accepted. Aaron will always be missed, but he will never be forgotten by those who will continue to carry his light in their hearts.
