Adalynn Rose Grider was born March 11, 2013, and died July 16, 2013. She died in the arms of her parents at University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital. Adalynn died waiting on a heart transplant and fought until the end.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Jack Austin. Though they never met we know they would have loved each other.
Adalynn is survived by her parents Cory and Katelyn Grider, her sister Leighkin Grider, her grandparents Dennis and Patty Baker and Clint and Christy Holszchuher along with great grand parents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will be Sunday July 21, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. The funeral service will be Monday July 22, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following.
In honor of Adalynn we ask that everyone wear their “Addy shirt” or aother red shirt to the funeral.
