Adarae Barnes, 83, Springfield, Missouri, after 60 years of service for her Lord, called her home on Friday, September 30, 2011, in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born December 13, 1927, in Cullison, Ks.
On October 14, 1946, she was married in Ottawa, Ks, to Clyde Barnes.
She was a member of Parkcrest Baptist Church, Springfield, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Barnes, four daughters, Donna Starkey and her husband Morris, Indiana, Sharon Trout and her husband John, Kansas, Nancy Barnes, of the home, and Clydene Stacy and her husband Harold, Kansas, nine grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. in Parkcrest Baptist Church, Springfield.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011, from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield.
