Adrian Lee Carver, 80, Springfield, MO. was born in Parsons, Kansas, to Carl and Virgie (Stiles) Carver, on July 16, 1939.
He passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 13, 2019, at his home in Springfield, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Phyllis (Jones) of their home; three daughters, Marlene Mayes, and her husband, Doug, of Springfield, Michele Black and her husband, Paul, of Springfield, and Melissa Carson and her husband, Joe, of Mesa, AZ; three grandchildren, Chance and Dalton Black, of Springfield and Kerrey Carson of Tulsa, OK.
After graduating from Central High School in 1958, Adrian enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving for 4 years. In 2001 he retired after 38 1/2 years from Lily Tulip Company. Adrian was a beloved husband, dad and grandpa, who will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 18, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with visitation one hour before services, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Private family burial will be at Missouri Veterans' Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or to Hospice Compassus.
