A Memorial Service for Alan Klein, age 86 of Branson, MO. will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Branson with Jeff Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO with full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
He died at 11:00PM, Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at his home.
He was born on February 3, 1929 in West Stockbridge, MA the son of William Klein and Mary McNaul Klein. He was a retired Senior Design Draftsman with General Electric and a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Branson and had been a resident of the area for the past 21 years.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years; Nancy Chaperon Klein of Branson, MO., seven children; Randal Klein of Beulah,MO, Richard Klein of West Stockbridge, MA., Douglas Klein of Acworth, GA., Dorothy Kemmer-Laux of Tampa, FL., Valerie Laversa of Raleigh-Durham, N.C., Kevin Mooney of Branson, MO and Michael Mooney of Branson, MO., four siblings; Billy Haley of Maryland, James Klein of Fort Pierce, FL., Patsy Jordan of Paradise, CA., Geraldine Whitehead of Pittsfield, MA., eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings; Dick Haley, Jean Schellenberger and Mary McSweeney.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Branson.
