Alana Catherine Hicks

Alana- 23 years young, passed from this world March 01 2020 from acute pneumonia after a short battle at Barnes Jewish hospital, St. Louis. Her sweet spirit, strong will, her beauty and love for her family and friends will be tightly held in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Alana is survived by her Dadda Toby “Tugg” Hicks, her life long rock & brother Keeton Hicks, sister in love Emily and her sunshine, niece Eliza “Petie Pie” Tamara. Grandparent(s) Louise Kay Maloney, Eddie & Sharon Hicks. Aunts and Uncles Patti Kim, Kim and Teddy Pridgen children Nick Byers, Julie and Pete Garrett, Michelle Vanderpool & Alicia Kjar, Michael Vanderpool. Cousins Marissa Hicks, Megan & Jaryd Goodman, Michael Jr & Karly Hicks, Brandon Vanderpool, Hope, Bentley, Paisley. Sisters in love Kimberlie Buckler, Morgan “Mornig” Jarvis, Christy Baltes and so very many more extended family and close friends that she loved very much. Zachary Norton is the love of her life and soulmate, thank you Zach for showing your love as she showed you her love.

Alana is preceded in death by her loving mother Tamara Erin Hicks (Maloney), Grandfather Gerald “Jerry” Maloney and her uncle Michael Lee Hicks Sr.,

Alana will be loved, cherished, missed and honored by her family and friends for many years to come. We all love you and cant wait to hold you again.

A memorial service for Alana will be on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with a visitation on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00. Burial will follow the services at Resurrection Cemetery.
