My deepest sympathies to Max and Jonathan. Al was a great Detachment Commander of the Sons of The American Legion-NY and it was an honor to serve under him as Adjutant. He was a "breath of fresh air", young and energized and from downstate. He will always be with all who knew him....may God Bless. RJ

My heart broke when I received the news of your passing, we met through CGOA, but you became my brother from another mother/my birthday twin. You supported me, guided me, and pushed me when needed. You were a blessing and you gifted me with two more blessings, Max "my sis" and Jon... My heart aches so much for them and wished I could take their pain away so I just keep praying over them because only Jesus can fill that void. You will be forever missed and never forgotten, Max, Jon... I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your family/lives...One thing I found shortly after meeting Albert is how much he loved and adored you both... I love y'all and I am so so sorry.

The day I met al was only a meeting we could have made. John (who worked with max) called her to ask if her husband could help me even though they hadn't met me yet and he came to help with no questions asked. Once I saw how openly nice he was I knew I was going to be best friends with his wife bc he spoke so highly of her and his eyes lit up. I couldn't imagine not having them in my life after meeting them. AL was a gentleman, an amazing friend, father and husband. That's not even going into his volunteer work. He was the world to his family and not a minute will go by that he isn't remembered and truly missed. This is heartbreakingly too soon to loose such a great man. Rip Al, we all miss you already

Let this be a loving Reminder that someone is missing today. Someone our heart still hold onto and as we travel, long life way someone who made life so special for all those who gather here someone that will never be forgotten but cherish from here to year and as we remember, let us finally recall how deeply each of us loved him, and he loved us all. Praying for you and your family

Al, J-Boy and Max adopted us as family from the first night we played Nashville Roadhouse. We love this family, and we know their hearts are breaking now. It doesn't seem real. Max & J-Boy, you are in our prayers and we send our love. We wish we could be there with you know--throwing our arms around you in big hugs and crying with you, but know that all THREE of you are in our hearts. God bless you all. 🙏🙏

Maxine and Jonathan, Words can never convey how sorry I am you both have to go through this. God took Al way too soon, but he must have had his reasons. Take small comfort in the fact that he's watching over you both now. Stay strong for each other. I love you both. Gina
