Albert M. Chappel, 78, Springfield, MO passed away on January 3, 2015. He was born March 10, 1936 in East Prairie, MO. He married Martha Miller in St. Louis, MO on June 29, 1957.
Albert retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He later retired from Springfield Waste Water Treatment Plant. He loved painting, camping and fishing at the lake, and singing while playing his keyboard.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Keith.
He is survived by his wife, Martha and his daughter, Arlette of Battlefield, MO.
He is also survived by his grandson, Dakota Wilkinson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 3 brothers: Herbert, Gary, and Larry, many other relatives, close friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South
Services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial to follow at Patterson Cemetery with full military honors.
