Chris & Wendy Carter left a message on February 1, 2024:
Mrs. Newman was a big part of my life growing up, since half my childhood seemed to be spent in the Newman's home. She was a dignified woman of grace, humor and very sweet. I'm glad she is once again with Mr. Newman, they were wonderful together. Wendy and I send prayers and our sincere condolences to the entire family.
Rick and Elaine Miller left a message on January 31, 2024:
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His light shine upon you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace. Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints. Rick and Elaine

I loved staying with Aunt Bertie so I could play with Peggy and get a hug from Uncle Bill. Later I became a hairdresser like she was and we actually worked together.
