I am so sorry to hear about Alice. We met Art and Alice over 30 years ago as our dear sweet neighbors in Springfield MO. After we moved away, we still kept in touch through Christmas cards & "hey I remember you" meetings! I will always keep you both in my heart ❤️
Melinda Harbottle left a message on May 13, 2024:
I worked with Alice at Macedonia teaching her fourth grade Sunday school class in 1998thru 1998. Alice was a beloved sister in Christ sharing her love for God and Jesus with her Sunday school class and everyone whose path she crossed. She is loved and missed. My condolences to her family and friends. Rest in peace Alice.

Alice was a good friend of mine. I loved her and she was such a blessing to me and so many others, She was humble sweet and kind. Alice was a member of my Sunday School Class, Tom Selvidge’s Class. I met her, because I was in charge of calling some of the members that were absent or could not attend. Alice was in my group to call. Through those phone calls and seeing her in the Worship Service we got to know each other quite well. Alice also led one of the Women’s Mission classes at Macedonia Baptist Church. She was dedicated to her ministry and worked very hard to provide an exciting and informative missions update, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship for the ladies that attended. She always made sure I had a Monthly Mission magazine, and kept me updated on the most recent newsletters, since I was unable to attend. You would always see Alice in the choir when possible. She was very faithful in service at Macedonia Baptist Church. Alice will be missed by her brothers and sister in the Church family. I will miss her, but will see her again when I get to heaven. What a reunion that will be. We are praying for Art, family and friends. Love in Christ, Mary and David Johnson
