Allegra Jealean “Jean” Campbell passed from this life and went home into the arms of Jesus, March 4, 2011.
The daughter of Harry and Ova Murduck, Jealean was born August 28, 1932 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Throughout her life she touched many people with her gentle spirit and love of God.
She is survived by her loving husband, Virgil A. Campbell of Ozark; two daughters, Sharon (Josh) Zahn of Springfield, and Tammy (Jim) Lorens, Roanoke, Virginia; six grandchildren, Joel, Aaron, Madeleine & Noah Zahn, Ava & Ethan Lorens; sisters, Sandra Muench, Pequita Jan (Dick) Malone, and Lynette (Jack) Moody; and one brother, Rod (Peg) Murduck.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, with a Memorial service on Friday, March 11, at 1:00 p.m in Greenlawn North.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Neighbor Program at East Sunshine Church of Christ, Springfield, Mo.
