On October 26th, 2020 Amber Lynn Brake, 29, unexpectedly passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Amber was born on November 15th, 1990 in Springfield, MO to William (Bill) and Irene (Maelynn) Brake. Amber grew up in and around the Springfield area making many lifelong friends. She had just recently begun a new journey that she was so excited about in the healthcare field working as a nursing assistant. Amber was a fiercely loyal and loving mother, partner, daughter, sister, and friend. She always went out of her way to take care of those she cared about. Her two sons were the light of her world. She loved fashion, makeup, and music. Amber had a strong determined spirit that allowed her to defy the odds and inspire those around her to do the same.

Amber is preceded in death by her stepmom Christine Brake, her Papa Darrel Brake, and her grandma Norma Manser. Amber is survived by her partner, Sandon Bedell, sons Eric (8), Isaiah (1), stepson Christian (16), mother Maelynn Brake , father Bill (Jennifer) Brake , sister Arianna (Michael) Winzeler and two nieces, sisters Hannah and Hailey Brake, brothers Caleb and William Brake, two stepsisters Emily Roberts and Elizabeth Haverly, her nanny Debbie Brake and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Service will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3506 North National, Springfield, MO. 65803 on Tuesday, November 3rd at 1pm. Amber’s family asks for those who wish to, please come join us in honoring her short, but beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations for her sons, Eric and Isaiah.
