Andrea Jane Rule 61, Springfield, MO. passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, in her home after an illness.  She was born in Springfield, MO. on October 7, 1960, to Homer and Betty (Ross) Jackson. She was a Christian woman, attending North Point Church. Andrea retired from the State of Missouri after 27 years, after working in The Family Services Office. On July 26, 2000, she was united in marriage to Stephen Rule, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Andrea loved helping people and she would do anything for anyone, she loved birdwatching and being at the lake floating, she loved spending time with her family and especially her dog, Loki. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother very kind to all, never wanting to hurt anyone’s feelings. Andrea was a great cook who liked to cook for family and friends, always doing all she could to help with family needs. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and attended all sporting and academic activities as well as other family functions. She was her husband’s best friend for 27 years.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents: Andy and Betty Jakson. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Rule, her daughter: Carolyn and her spouse, Robin, four grandchildren: Austin, Hallie, Ashton, and Victory, her two brothers: John and Gary and other relatives: Nancy Rule, Jennifer Rule, and Jeff Rule.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Greene County Humane Society. Andrea’s funeral services will be announced at a later date.
