Andrea Jean (Moore) Ummel, 74, of Rogersville passed away on August 19, 2023 in Cox Medical Center.  Andrea was born on September 23, 1948 to William Andrew Moore Jr. and Norma Jean (Goddard) Moore in Springfield, MO.  She grew up in Springfield until 1960 when she moved to a farm in Rogersville.  Here she grew to love riding horses all over the county with her brother Terry.  She graduated from Ozark High School in 1966.  Andrea was a member of the Navy reserves in the late 60’s. She retired from Sweetheart Cup after many years of work.  Andrea enjoyed genealogy, and was a member of several local organizations including Daughters of the American Revolution.  She enjoyed talking and made many friends through her life.  Her dogs were loved dearly and provided companionship and a reason to do things daily.  Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, nephew William Andrew Moore III, and cousin Jody Turner.  Survivors include her daughters Cynthia Kay Johnson and husband Dean, Tracy Dawn Archer and partner Chris Kristek.  Her grandchildren Haleigh Jean Johnson and Shawn Christopher Archer.  Her brother William Terry Moore and wife Paula, and her sister Sherry Moore.  Nephews James Moore and wife Alicia and Terry Moore and wife Katie.  Great nieces and nephews, Diana Moore, Kaitlin Romans, Emma Moore, Joshua Moore, and Drew Moore.  Special cousin Julie Turner, and other family members and friends.  The family would also like to thank the many members of the medical community that has cared for Andrea.  No visitation is planned.  Graveside services will be Tuesday August 22, 10:00am at Richwood Cemetery Ozark, MO.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to any local no kill shelter.
