Andrew Shelby Nunn left this world to be with Jesus on October 6, 2017.

He was born on July 14, 2003 in Springfield, Missouri to Tommy & Terri Nunn. As their first child & only son, Andrew brought them many new, exciting, & happy experiences. His beautiful eyes and long eyelashes were noticed and commented on by all who met him. He had a smile that could instantly warm your heart or make you wonder what he was up to. He had a special way with animals of all kinds and spent lots of time with his four-legged buddy, Bingo. He loved to read and very rarely went anywhere without a book in his hands. He thought donuts should be available at every meal and was never known to turn one down. Like his parents, he had a love for all kinds of music, from Mozart and Jackie Evancho to Pentatonix and the Beach Boys.

Andrew was a freshman at Strafford High School. He was part of the Cross Country team and had earned his first cross country medal in September. He was also a member of the Robotics Club and FBLA. He sang in the High School Concert Choir and had recently been selected to be a part of the Southwest Missouri District Honor Choir.

Andrew accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord & Savior when he was 6 years old and was an active member of the youth group at National Heights Baptist Church. He enjoyed helping his dad run sound and video for Sunday morning services as well as working with the younger kids during Vacation Bible School.

Andrew was preceded in death by his “Paw-Paw”, John Whitcher.
Andrew is survived by his loving parents, his younger sister, Dani Sue, his “Mee-Maw”, Doris Whitcher, his “Grandma & Pop”, Cleo & Murline Nunn, his Aunt Amy & Uncle Mike, Uncle Bruce, Aunt Cindy & Uncle Pappy, Aunt Lisa & Uncle Orlando, Uncle Rick & Aunt Tressa, his cousins Brita, Logan, Rickie, & Ryan, his girlfriend Kendall, and numerous other family and friends who loved him and will miss him.
