Anna May Elliott Miller went home to the Lord on June 10, 2022. She was born and raised in Springfield, MO by Irish immigrant parents. Her father John Elliott founded the Southeast Gospel Chapel and along with his wife Rebecca ministered to believers and those who had never heard the good news of Christ. Ann loved playing her piano and learned to play at a young age. She played for church services and gave lessons. She graduated from Parkview High School 2nd in her class and went on to study at Drury and Burge School of Nursing to become an RN BSN. She married Ron Miller whom she met while he was on leave from the Army visiting at the Gospel Chapel. They had two daughters Sharon Koechner (Mike) and Beverly Leligois (Dominique). Ann went on to become a Nursing Professor and trained many nurses at Cox College as well as Bluefield State College and Central Methodist University. She was a lifetime learner and achieved her second Master’s Degree in Nursing Science from The University of Virginia at Charlottesville. She enjoyed, piano, reading, traveling, cooking, family, and attending First & Calvary with her husband and then Sharon. She will be greatly missed by her daughters and granddaughters Tiffany Leligois and Coraline Leligois; brother Gordon Elliott (Glenda); nephew Todd Elliott (Marsha and children) and Niece Tara Ford (Jeff and children). She is predeceased by her husband Ron Miller, father and mother John and Rebecca Elliott and brother David Elliott. Ann also loved Ron’s family, many other nieces and nephews and their children.
