Anna Margaret Fleeman, age 39, passed away on Sunday, May 1st.
Anna is survived by her mother, Margaret Miller; her daughter, Ashley Pearl Fleeman; her daughter’s father, Jon Fleeman; her brother, Frazier Miller III; her sister and brother-in-law, Macy and Jason Boyd; her half-sister, Kimberly Azar, and many loving friends.
Anna is preceded in death by her father and two older brothers.
Anna was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and educated with a Bachelor’s of Accounting at Missouri State University. She spent most of her life in Southwest, Missouri, continuing her accounting career for many years, while simultaneously pursuing her dream of being a stand-up comedian. Anna performed both locally and nationally, but her favorite was close to home.
Anna was dedicated and hardworking, but her true love was bringing joy to others. Her laughter was infectious and you couldn’t help but smile in her presence.
Anna was a compassionate, gracious, and supportive daughter and sister.
Anna was married to the love of her life, Jon, for ten years. Together they embarked on their greatest adventure, parenthood.
Anna believed her greatest achievement in life was bringing her wonderful little girl into this world, and she took her role as a mother very seriously. She was committed to making sure Ashley knew the sky was the limit, and passionate about leading her in the best ways she could.
Anna found Christ as a young teenager, and remained devout in her faith. She faced many struggles, but throughout each one, she held close to Him. Her favorite parable was that of the lost sheep. We rejoice today that even though Anna was once lost, she has been found, and that her savior has sought her out from the 99.
