Annabelle Mooberry, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 31st.
She was born October 19th, 1931 in Chadwick, Missouri. She began her nurses training at Springfield Baptist Hospital and in St. Louis, Missouri. Her career included working as a Registered Nurse at Springfield Baptist Hospital and the Springfield Health Department. After her retirement she volunteered as a medical missionary, which took her to many countries around the world.
She enjoyed spending her days volunteering for Mercy Hospital and Least of These, going to the lake, square dancing and gardening. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her loved ones and attending Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Nixa.
She is survived by her son, David, and her daughter Linda; and five grandchildren, Amanda, Dustin, Mitchell, Maegan, and Micki; and two great-grandchildren, Beckett and Noah. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Weter, her mother Pearl Patterson, her sister Imogene Brown, and her brother Jim Weter.
A Celebration of Life service for Annabelle Mooberry will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 2pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Nixa. Donations and Flowers may be sent to Greenlawn Funeral Home South in Springfield.
