Annie Lee Wells, 74, of Springfield went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ April 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving and loyal family.
Annie enjoyed watching westerns, the soap operas and lifetime movies. But most of all loved her family being together. Her beautiful smile will be truly missed by all of her family and the many lives she touched and inspired.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents, Vennie Mae Brown and Walter Lee Turner. Also preceding her in death is her sons Andrew, Sammy and Robert Wells; grandsons Marcus, D’Ellias Wells; granddaughter Annie Wells Dailey and a sister Charlesetta White.
She is survived by her children Lesia Wells, Timmy Wells, Sr., Barbara Wells, Johnny Wells, King Wells, Riccy Wells and Vernon Wells; 34 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren; brothers Milen Brown, Robert Brown, Lee Kendrick, Willie Johnson, Napoleon Durley, John Cunningham; sisters Mary Tueraud, Lorianne Brown and Ruby Byrd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services for Annie will be at 1:00 pm Friday April 30, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with interment to follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm prior to the service.
