She died on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home in Branson.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of William and Irene (Deek) Ipema. Annjean moved to Branson in 1993.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Glenn Vander Laan, Sr. of the home, two sons, Ronald Glenn Vander Laan, Jr. and Randall Vander Laan, both of Branson, as well as a host of family and friends.
