Archie Thompson 77, of Pleasant Hope Mo. passed away Tuesday 9th, 2010. He was born Sept. 18, 1932 in Shreveport La. Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents, Mr and Mrs. Virgil Thompson; 2 children, Annie and Danny Thompson; and siblings, Albert Thompson and Marie Lollis. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Verline (ingram) Thompson married June 30, 1956; his three sons, Archie and Kathy Thompson, Chris and Paula Thompson from Pleasant Hope, and Randy Thompson from Wichita Falls, Texas, also including 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren along with many other family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday February 12, 2010 in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 13, 2010
with burial at Mt. Comfort cemetery directly following the services. Officiating will be long time friend Don Powell.
