Arlene Ruth Malloy, age 89, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on February 15, 2024. She was born on April 30, 1934, in Perryton, Texas, to James and Anna Caldwell. She married Berlin Edward Malloy on May 27, 1951, in Murray County, Oklahoma.
Her jobs included Homemaker, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She was a talented pianist who played for Grant Avenue Freewill Baptist and South Fremont Freewill Baptist, and was an accomplished seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Edward Malloy. She is survived by her son, James Gregory Malloy and his wife Leticia D. Malloy; 1 granddaughter, Melissa Ann Massey; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 2 sisters; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a time Celebrating her Life at 1:00-3:00 PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Her final resting place will be Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
