Aymen Sikander Cannefax
On September 7, 2020, Aymen Sikander Cannefax, 24, went to be at peace with God. Aymen was a 2014 graduate of Kickapoo High School and was working on his Bachelors Degree from Missouri State University. Aymen had an infectious personality and a soul that is described by many as pure and selfless. He was a light to those who knew him, and he truly knew no stranger. Aymen is survived by his parents John and Naheel Cannefax, and his Baba Aamer Sikander; his siblings, Trevor Cannefax, Shayan and Jordan Cannefax, Nyle and Lauren Cannefax, Tori Cannefax, and a gathering of friends who are brothers, as well as his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him.
The visitation will be at Greenlawn Funeral Home East located on 3540 East Seminole Street on Monday, September 14th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held the following day, September 15th at 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make donations to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri located at 3161 W Norton Rd. Springfield, MO 65803. Donations are also welcomed to be made to Mothers Against Drunk Driving at 1722 S. Glenstone Suite LL Springfield, MO 65804.

I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I saw this earlier today because I was looking for a person I knew who had died within the last month, and came across this obituary of Aymen. Very tragic to lose a child, I cannot imagine the pain. I remember when he was 3 yrs old and how he was so funny and adorable, but I hadn't seen him since then. Praying for you Naheel and family for grace, healing and to seek God with all your hearts.

Aymen was the special kind of person who immediately brightened every room he stepped in to. He had such an amazing ability to make others feel happy and welcome just by being with them.
