Barbara Jean Boone, age 72, Hollister, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014. She was born in Holyoke, Colorado, on January 30, 1941. Barbara did volunteer work for the Taney Hills Library, and enjoyed travel, reading, and working crossword puzzles. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Boone. She is survived by her son Mark Boone and his wife Tracy, one daughter, Cindy Bratcher, and her husband James. Survivors also include 2 grandchildren; Brandon Bratcher, and Carissa Bratcher; 2 brothers, Dewey and Lil Lindgren, and Gerry and Fae Lindgren; and one sister, Lu Radtke. A memorial service is planned at a later date in Holyoke, Colorado.
