Barbara Jean Keck, 79, of Springfield, Missouri passed away February 13, 2023. She was born May 14, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, to Floyd and Vera Mitchell.
Barbara grew up in Denver and graduated from high school there. She soon met Darel Keck and they were married July 6, 1962. Together they moved to Arkansas and took care of a chicken farm before settling in Missouri, where they owned a horse ranch. Barbara deeply loved music and could play almost any instrument you could think of. She also loved to sing and paint. She would often paint and then give her art to family members as gifts.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents, Floyd and Vera Mitchell; sister, Carolyn Clark; and husband Darel Keck.
She was survived by her children, Trisha Hup her husband Simon, Mickey Keck, his wife Mae; grandchildren, Nathan Keck, Amanda Buckley, Cassidy Keck, Jamie Keck; other relatives, and friends.
