“Bea” Cook 97, of Willard, passed away in her sleep Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at 2:45 a.m. She was born in Christian County of Ozark, Missouri on May 10, 1923 to the late Johnnie Wesley Bryan and Grace Curtis. She was married to Sherman Theodore Cook on December 11, 1941 and together they raised three children.
Bea Cook was a beloved wife that enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning, gardening and growing flowers. She loved going to the lake, to farm festivals and the Sunday flea market. Every year Bea made sure to share her love by making holiday cookies and candy to give to her loved ones.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband; Sherman Theodore Cook in 2011, and her son; Eugene “Gene” Cook in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her four sisters; Lucille, Louise, Inez and Corene and three brothers; Webster, John, and Bobby Joe.
Survivors include her son Harold Dee and his wife Trula, and daughter Genevive, grandchildren: Michelle, Melisa, Doug, Dean and wife Lori, Angie, Jerry, Tina and husband Jeff, Carlynn and husband Don and Angela, as well as many other family and loved ones.
Services will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at Rose Hill Baptist Church of Willard, Missouri, with funeral service at 11:00 a.m., visitation will begin one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
