Bernice Mae Wright Gibson was born September 13, 1917 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She passed away peacefully August 6, 2016. She is survived by her Son and his wife Kenneth and Patti Downing of Tonganoxie, Kansas. When she wasn’t teaching in the classroom she was a full time Sunday school teacher at her beloved church Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.The funeral services for Bernice will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Greenlawn South 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, Missouri with burial to follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.In lieu of flowers she would have appreciated donations to her church Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.
